Abstract
Peningkatan arus penumpang dan aktivitas transportasi di Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda, terutama di sekitar Terminal 1, menuntut peningkatan kualitas infrastruktur, termasuk sistem drainase jalan akses. Drainase yang tidak memadai dapat menyebabkan genangan, merusak jalan, serta mengganggu kelancaran operasional bandara. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perencanaan saluran drainase terbuka untuk menjamin keamanan dan kenyamanan pengguna jalan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sistem drainase terbuka yang efektif mengalirkan air hujan sesuai standar teknis dan kondisi lapangan. Secara akademis, kajian ini memberikan kontribusi pada bidang teknik sipil, khususnya dalam
hidrologi dan sistem drainase transportasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi survei lapangan guna memperoleh data topografi, analisis curah hujan menggunakan metode
Mononobe dan distribusi Log Pearson III untuk menentukan intensitas hujan rencana 10 tahunan, serta perhitungan debit rencana menggunakan metode rasional. Dimensi saluran ditentukan melalui pendekatan trial and error. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan perencanaan untuk sepuluh tahun mendatang,
diperoleh dimensi saluran dengan lebar 2,6 m dan tinggi 1,4 m. Perencanaan ini menggunakan saluran terbuka yang dibangun dari pasangan batu kali. Mengacu pada perhitungan Rencana Anggaran Biaya (RAB), estimasi biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk
pembangunan saluran drainase terbuka di area jalan akses menuju Terminal 1 Bandar Udara Internasional Juanda Surabaya, dengan volume pasangan batu kali sebesar 603
m³, diperkirakan mencapai Rp 980.500.000 (sembilan ratus delapan puluh juta lima ratus ribu rupiah).

The increasing flow of passengers and transportation activities at Juanda International Airport, particularly around Terminal 1, demands improvements in supporting infrastructure, including the access road drainage system. Inadequate drainage can lead to waterlogging, road damage, and disruptions to airport operations. Therefore, a well-planned open drainage system is essential to ensure the
safety and comfort of road users. This study aims to design an open drainage system capable of effectively channeling rainwater in accordance with technical standards and actual field conditions. Academically, this research contributes to the field of civil engineering, particularly in the areas of hydrology and transportation drainage systems. The methods employed include field surveys to obtain topographic data, rainfall analysis using the Mononobe method and the Log Pearson Type III distribution to determine the 10-year return period rainfall intensity, and runoff discharge calculations using the rational method. The channel dimensions were determined through a trial-anderror approach. Based on the planning calculations for the next ten years, the designed drainage channel has a width of 2.6 meters and a height of 1.4 meters. The system adopts an
open channel constructed from masonry (river stone) lining. Referring to the estimated Bill of Quantities, the projected construction cost for the open drainage system along the access road to Terminal 1 of Juanda International Airport, with a total masonry volume of 603 m³, is approximately IDR 980,500,000 (nine hundred eighty million five hundred thousand rupiah).
