Abstract
Bandar udara memiliki peran penting dalam mendukung kelancaran
transportasi udara, salah satunya melalui penyediaan fasilitas terminal, terutama di
area ruang tunggu keberangkatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui
pengaruh kualitas fasilitas terminal terhadap kepuasan penumpang di Bandar Udara
Djalaluddin Gorontalo.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional dengan
pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, serta
penyebaran kuesioner kepada 34 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji
validitas, reliabilitas, korelasi Rank Spearman, dan regresi linear sederhana dengan
bantuan software SPSS.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara
kualitas fasilitas terminal (variabel X) dengan kepuasan penumpang (variabel Y),
dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar
0,908 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan keduanya berada pada kategori kuat. Dari
hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas fasilitas terminal di ruang tunggu
keberangkatan memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan
penumpang di Bandar Udara Djalaluddin Gorontalo.

Airports play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of air
transportation, one of which is through the provision of terminal facilities,
particularly in the departure waiting area. This study aims to determine the
influence of terminal facility quality on passenger satisfaction at Djalaluddin
Airport, Gorontalo.
The research method used is correlational with a quantitative approach. Data
were collected through observations and questionnaires distributed to 34
respondents. Data analysis techniques included validity tests, reliability tests,
Spearman's rank correlation, and simple linear regression using SPSS software.
The analysis results show a significant relationship between the quality of
terminal facilities (variable X) and passenger satisfaction (variable Y), with a
significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The correlation coefficient value of 0.908
indicates a strong relationship between the two variables. Based on these results,
it can be concluded that the quality of terminal facilities in the departure waiting
area has a strong and significant influence on passenger satisfaction at Djalaluddin
Airport, Gorontalo.
