Abstract

berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna.
pencatatan logbook operasinal AVSEC.

==========================================================
The advancement of digital technology has brought significant
transformation across various operational aspects of airports. One of the issues
still encountered is the inefficiency in the logbook recording process of Aviation
Security (AVSEC), particularly at Mutiara Sis Al-Jufri Airport in Palu. The current
manual recording process is considered inefficient in terms of time, effort, and data
storage. This study aims to design and develop a digital solution to replace the
manual system in order to improve the efficiency and accuracy of AVSEC activity
logging.
This research employs a Research and Development (R&D) approach using
the Four-D (4D) model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The system was
developed using the AppSheet platform, integrated with Google Spreadsheet as its
cloud-based database. System testing was carried out using Black Box Testing and
validated by two experts: a subject matter expert in aviation security and a media
and information technology expert.
The development results show that the digital logbook application
successfully meets user needs. The validation results from the subject matter expert
indicated a feasibility score of 100%, while the media expert provided a score of
98.75%, both categorized as highly feasible. Black box testing confirmed that all
system functions operated as intended. Furthermore, system testing demonstrated
that the digital logbook enables faster, more practical, and more efficient data entry
compared to the manual method. Therefore, this system is considered effective in
enhancing the efficiency of operational AVSEC logbook documentation.
