Abstract

Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya membutuhkan sistem pengawasan yang efektif untuk menjaga ketertiban dan keamanan lingkungan kampus. Namun, pengawasan masih bergantung pada CCTV konvensional dan pemantauan manual
yang memiliki keterbatasan dalam deteksi pelanggaran secara real-time. Kesenjangan ini menunjukkan perlunya sistem cerdas berbasis YOLO V5 yang mampu mendeteksi intrusi secara otomatis dan memberikan notifikasi langsung. Dengan penerapan teknologi tersebut, diharapkan pengawasan terhadap keamanan kampus dapat ditingkatkan secara lebih efisien dan responsif.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan prototipe, meliputi tahapan identifikasi kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pembuatan prototipe, evaluasi,
dan pengujian. Setiap tahapan dilakukan secara sistematis agar menghasilkan produk yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengawasan keamanan kampus. Hasil menunjukkansistem mampu mendeteksi pada bagian area perimeter dengan metode
YOLO V5 secara real time, kemudian mendeteksi antara manusi dan non manusia dengan bounding box dan indikator, pada saat mendeteksi manusia otomatis akan terkoneksi dengan Mikrokontroler ESP32 dan mengirim data tersebut ke buzzer dan akan berbunyi, serta menyimpan hasilnya secara otomatis.
Hasil dari prototipe sistem monitoring deteksi intrusi berbasis algoritma YOLO V5 menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python, serta menjadi sistem keamanan pada area perimeter di kampus Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya.Kata kunci: YOLO V5, python, deteksi intrusi, pendekatan prototipe, ESP32,

The Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic requires an effective surveillance system to maintain order and security on campus. However, surveillance still relies on conventional CCTV and manual monitoring, which are limited in real-time violation detection. This gap highlights the need for a YOLO V5-based intelligent system capable of automatically detecting intrusions and providing immediate notifications.
Implementing this technology is expected to improve campus security oversight, making it more efficient and responsive.
The research method used is a prototype approach, including the stages of needs identification, system design, prototype creation, evaluation, and testing. Each stage is carried out systematically to produce a product that suits the needs of campus security surveillance. The results show that the system is able to detect in the perimeter area with the YOLO V5 method in real time, then detect between humans and non￾humans with bounding boxes and indicators, when detecting humans it will automatically connect to the ESP32 Microcontroller and send the data to the buzzer and will sound, and save the results automatically..The results of the prototype intrusion detection monitoring system based on the YOLO V5 algorithm using the Python programming language, as well as being a security system in the perimeter area on the Surabaya Aviation Polytechnic campus.Keywords: YOLO V5, python, intrusion detection, prototype approach, ESP32, campusperimeter security
