Abstract
Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta berada di wilayah Kecamatan Temon, Kabupaten Kulon Progo, Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Bandar Udara Internasional Yogyakarta memiliki runway dengan panjang 3.250 meter dan lebar 45 meter dengan nilai PCN 89 F/C/X/T. Sebagai salah satu gerbang utama transportasi udara di Indonesia, memerlukan sistem evaluasi perkerasan yang sistematis, akurat, dan berkelanjutan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kondisi perkerasan runway menggunakan metode Pavement Condition Index (PCI) serta merumuskan strategi perbaikan yang efisien dan sesuai kondisi aktual.
Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup survei visual kerusakan permukaan sesuai standar ASTM D6433, penentuan nilai PCI, klasifikasi tingkat kerusakan, dan rekomendasi perbaikan berdasarkan nilai ambang batas. Dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional yang bersifat subjektif, metode PCI menawarkan pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis data lapangan yang lebih objektif dan dapat direplikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian segmen runway berada pada kategori "good" hingga "fair", namun terdapat beberapa titik kritis dengan nilai PCI di bawah standar minimum. Dengan menggunakan hasil analisis ini, rencana perbaikan yang disusun mampu mengoptimalkan penggunaan anggaran serta meminimalisir gangguan terhadap operasional penerbangan. Hasil dari evaluasi yang didapatkan nilai PCI sebesar 93% dengan katergori “good”terdepat kerusakan dan perbaikannya seperti pemotongan secara local (patching) pada kerusakan corrugation, depression, patching and utility cut, potholes, swelling, block cracking dengan luas 199,12 m2 serta pembersihan rubber deposit dengan luas 2.106 m2, dalam kerusakan tersebut membutuhkan perbaikan dengan biaya dengan Rp 92.500.000,00 (terbilang Sembilan Puluh Dua Juta Lima Ratus Ribu Rupiah)

Yogyakarta International Airport is located in Temon District, Kulon Progo Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Yogyakarta International Airport has a runway with a length of 3,250 meters and a width of 45 meters with a PCN value of 89 F/C/X/T. As one of the main gateways for air transportation in Indonesia, it requires a systematic, accurate, and sustainable pavement evaluation system. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of the runway pavement using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method and to formulate an efficient and appropriate repair strategy according to actual conditions.
The methodology used includes a visual survey of surface damage according to ASTM D6433 standard, determination of PCI value, classification of damage level, and repair recommendation based on threshold value. Compared to conventional subjective approaches, the PCI method offers a quantitative approach based on field data that is more objective and replicable. The results of the study indicate that some runway segments are in the "good" to "fair" category, but there are several critical points with PCI values below the minimum standard. By using the results of this analysis, the prepared repair plan is able to optimize budget usage and minimize disruption to flight operations. The results of the evaluation obtained a PCI value of 93% with the category "good" there is damage and repairs such as local cutting (patching) on corrugation damage, depression, patching and utility cut, potholes, swelling, block cracking with an area of 199.12 m2 and cleaning of rubber deposits with an area of 2,106 m2, in the damage requires repairs at a cost of Rp 92,500,000.00 (in words Ninety Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Rupiah)
