Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah penumpang di Bandar Udara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali berdampak langsung terhadap intensitas pergerakan pesawat dan kebutuhan fasilitas operasional sisi udara. Salah satu fasilitas penting yang mendukung kelancaran pelayanan pesawat di darat adalah Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Keterbatasan area parkir GSE dapat menimbulkan ketidakteraturan penempatan peralatan, menghambat mobilitas di apron, serta meningkatkan risiko keselamatan operasional. Oleh karena itu, analisis kebutuhan lahan GSE menjadi penting sebagai dasar perencanaan fasilitas sisi udara yang lebih efektif.
Penelitian ini telah menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan peramalan melalui regresi linear sederhana. Data yang digunakan meliputi data historis penumpang, data pergerakan pesawat, data inventaris GSE, dimensi fisik GSE, serta luas lahan parkir eksisting. Proyeksi penumpang digunakan untuk menghitung Penumpang Waktu Sibuk (PWS), kebutuhan armada pesawat, kebutuhan unit GSE, kebutuhan luas lahan, dan konfigurasi tata letak GSE. Perancangan layout telah dilakukan dengan bantuan perangkat lunak AutoCAD.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah penumpang diproyeksikan meningkat dari 32.793.134 penumpang pada tahun 2026 menjadi 84.898.774 penumpang pada tahun 2036, dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,8663. Peningkatan tersebut berdampak pada kenaikan PWS menjadi 29.714,57 dan kebutuhan armada pesawat menjadi 86 unit pada tahun 2036. Kebutuhan GSE meliputi Aircraft Towing Tractor, Baggage Towing Tractor, Baggage Cart, dan Ground Power Unit, dengan kebutuhan luas aktual sebesar 26.096,35 m². Temuan ini menjadi dasar perencanaan lahan GSE yang lebih terorganisir, aman, dan efisien dalam mendukung operasional apron.

The increase in passenger traffic at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Bali directly affects aircraft movement intensity and the demand for airside operational facilities. One essential facility supporting aircraft ground services is Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Limited GSE parking space can cause disorganized equipment placement, obstruct apron mobility, and increase operational safety risks. Therefore, analyzing GSE land requirements is important as a basis for planning more effective airside facilities.
This study used a descriptive quantitative method with a forecasting approach through simple linear regression. The data included historical passenger traffic, aircraft movement data, GSE inventory data, physical dimensions of GSE, and the existing GSE parking area. Passenger projections were used to calculate Peak Hour Passengers (PWS), aircraft fleet requirements, GSE unit requirements, land area requirements, and GSE layout configuration. The layout design was developed using AutoCAD software.
The results showed that passenger volume was projected to increase from 32,793,134 passengers in 2026 to 84,898,774 passengers in 2036, with a coefficient of determination of 0.8663. This increase resulted in Peak Hour Passengers reaching 29,714.57 and aircraft fleet requirements reaching 86 units by 2036. The required GSE consisted of Aircraft Towing Tractor, Baggage Towing Tractor, Baggage Cart, and Ground Power Unit, with an actual land requirement of 26,096.35 m². These findings provide a basis for planning a more organized, safe, and efficient GSE parking area to support apron operations.
