Abstract
Nature has played a significant role in creating a desire in human beings to develop flying machines. It is well known that bird (of course with flapping wings) flying had a strong influence in the development of gliders and air- craft. Even in plants, the concept of flying over reasonably long distance to spread the seeds exists. For the sake of illustrating the beauty of nature, a few examples of flying fixed wing (Figure 1.1) and rotating wing (Figures 1.2–1.5) seeds are shown. The rotating wing seeds can be further divided into single or multiple wing seeds.
