Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah prototipe website edukasi
“ICAOEnglish” berbasis Figma sebagai media pembelajaran ICAO English
Language Proficiency Test. Keterampilan berbahasa Inggris sangat penting dalam
dunia penerbangan, khususnya untuk komunikasi dalam skala internasional. Oleh
karena itu, media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dinilai perlu untuk mendukung
proses kompetensi tersebut.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development
(R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,
Implementation, dan Evaluation). Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi kuesioner
analisis kebutuhan, lembar validasi translasional oleh ahli, dan wawancara
terstruktur dengan calon pengguna. Produk akhir dari penelitian ini berupa
prototipe website edukasi bernama “ICAOEnglish”, yang memuat materi berbasis
elemen-elemen dalam ujian ICAO English Language Proficiency.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rancangan prototipe website yang
dikembangkan telah memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna berdasarkan hasil analisis
kebutuhan, dinyatakan valid oleh ahli dalam aspek materi dan teknis, serta
memperoleh respon positif dari calon pengguna setelah dilakukan uji coba
terbatas prototipe. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi landasan untuk
pengembangan lebih lanjut media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam
pendidikan penerbangan.

This study aims to design a prototype of an educational website called
“ICAOEnglish,” developed using Figma as a learning media for the ICAO
English Language Proficiency Test. English proficiency is highly essential in
aviation, particularly for international communication. Therefore, technologybased learning media are considered necessary to support the development of
such competencies.
The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using
the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation,
and Evaluation). The instruments used included a needs analysis questionnaire, a
translational validation sheet by experts, and structured interviews with
prospective users. The final product of this study is an educational website
prototype named “ICAOEnglish,” which contains materials based on the
elements of the ICAO English Language Proficiency test.
The results show that the developed website prototype meets user needs
based on the needs analysis, is validated by experts in terms of both content and
technical aspects, and received positive responses from prospective users after
prototype testing. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for further
development of technology-based learning media in aviation education.
