PENGARUH PЕМАНАMAN PENUMPANG TENTANG PROSEDUR PEMERIKSAAN BODY SCANNER TERHADAP KELANCARAN PEMERIKSAAN PADA PASSENGER SECURITY CHECK POINT DI BANDAR UDARA DJALALUDDIN GORONTALO

Pemeriksaan keamanan di bandara merupakan tahap penting dalam menjaga
keselamatan penerbangan, salah satunya melalui peningkatan pemeriksaan
keamanan ialah menggunakan Body Scanner di area Passenger Security Check
Point (PSCP). Namun, proses pemeriksaan tersebut kerap mengalami hambatan
akibat kurangnya pemahaman penumpang terhadap prosedur yang berlaku. Proses
pemeriksaan keamanan menggunakan Body Scanner saat ini sudah terdapat Di
Bandar Udara Djalaluddin Gorontalo.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman
penumpang mengenai prosedur pemeriksaan Body Scanner terhadap kelancaran
proses pemeriksaan di Bandara Djalaluddin Gorontalo. Dengan menggunakan
pendekatan kuantitatif dan penyebaran kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan
data, penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan antara tingkat pemahaman penumpang
dan efisiensi pemeriksaan.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar
0,925 yang menunjukkan hubungan yang sangat kuat antara pemahaman
penumpang tentang prosedur Body Scanner dengan kelancaran pemeriksaan di
PSCP. Selain itu, nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,855
mengindikasikan bahwa sebesar 85,5% kelancaran pemeriksaan dapat dijelaskan
oleh tingkat pemahaman penumpang terhadap prosedur yang berlaku. Hasil ini
mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi pemahaman penumpang terhadap prosedur
pemeriksaan, maka semakin lancar pula proses pemeriksaan.

Security checks at airports are an important stage in maintaining flight
safety, one ofwhich is through increasing security checks by using a Body Scanner
in the Passenger Security Check Point (PSCP) area. However, the inspection
process is often hampered by passengers lack of understanding of the applicable
procedures. The security inspection process using a Body Scanner is currently
available at Djalaluddin Gorontalo Airport.
This study aims to determine the influence of passengers' understanding of
the Body Scanner examination procedure on the smooth examination process at
Djalaluddin Gorontalo Airport. Using a quantitative approach and questionnaire
dissemination as a data collection instrument, this study analyzes the relationship
between passenger understanding level and examination efficiency.
Based on the results of data analysis, a correlation coefficient value of 0.925
was obtained which shows a very strong relationship between passengers'
understanding of the Body Scanner procedure and the smooth examination at
PSCP. In addition, the value of the determination coefficient (R Square) of 0.855
indicates that 85.5% of the smoothness of the examination can be explained by the
level of passengers' understanding of the applicable procedures. These results
indicate that the higher the passenger's understanding of the inspection procedure,
the smoother the inspection process will be.
